Windy City collectibles show dates announced

The 2006 Chicagoland Entertainment Collectors Expo will take place Sept. 8 through 10 at the Wingate Inn in Prospect Heights, Ill., Paul Maiellaro, CECE promoter announced Friday.

The show's 50 exhibition booths will include guest celebrities, trading card manufacturers, industry artists and collectibles vendors.

As in previous years, Maiellaro is to host a charity breakfast that will be held prior to the Expo's Saturday morning hours.  Admission to the 60-person breakfast is $15.  The charitable organizations has not yet been determined.'

General admission tickets are $8 per day or $20 for the complete weekend.  Show hours begin Friday Sept. 8 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday's opening takes place 11 a.m. and runs to 6 p.m.; and the Sunday finale starts 9 a.m. and closes 2 p.m.
