Trading
card marketing philosophies and his company's three year background
highlighted a feature on Steve Charendoff and Rittenhouse
Archives in this week's Philadelphia Business Journal.
In
1996, Charendoff felt classic television science fiction titles such as
Twilight Zone and Outer Limits had been prime candidates for trading
cards.
"Today,
we have a niche in sci-fi and fantasy, and that has enabled us to build
a business unlike anything the other companies have attempted," he
said.
The
article quoted Rittenhouse sales figures of $3.8 million in 2001 and
$1.5 million in 2000.
The
entire article can be found at the Philadelphia
Business Journal web site.
